Once your project is set up and your product data is connected properly, it’s time to add your first design overlay – this is what your audience will actually see in the ad!
Step 1: Go to the Designs Tab
In your Cropink project, head to the "Designs" tab. This is where you create and customize how your product images will look.
You can choose from ready-made templates – or take full creative control by uploading your own custom design straight from Figma.

Once you’ve picked a design, click on it. This will open the Design Manager, where you can customize it – change text, move elements around, or adjust styles to fit your brand. Check THIS ARTICLE to learn more about customizing your design in Design Manager.
💡 Quick Tip: Designs tab vs. Campaigns tab – What’s the difference?
This is super important if you're just getting started:
The Designs tab is all about the visual look — think of it as your creative studio. You set up overlays, banners, pricing stickers, product titles, etc.
The Campaigns tab is where you decide which products the design applies to, for how long, and under what conditions.
In short:
🎨 Designs = What your ad looks like
📢 Campaigns = When, and to which products the design gets applied
Step 2: Apply Your Design to Your Products
To actually apply your design to product images, go to the "Data Source" tab and click the “Update Now” button. This action tells Cropink to process the new design and generate the updated image links.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Just selecting a design is not enough — your design also needs to be connected to a campaign (Check THIS ARTICLE for guideline), or it won’t show up in your product feed. If you're using the free version of Cropink, you're allowed 2 manual updates per day!
