Auto-Generate Multiple Creative Sizes From One Design

Updated this week

If you want to run your ads across multiple Meta placements (Feed, Stories, Reels, Explore, etc.), you can prepare multiple creative sizes in Cropink based on one master design.
This allows you to manage all your formats in a single place β€” without duplicating work or manually exporting assets.

πŸ’‘ How It Works

To create multiple formats, you simply upload additional versions of your overlay/design as Additional Images in Cropink.

Your main design serves as the β€œDefault Image,” while all alternative sizes are added as Additional Images.
Meta will automatically use the version that matches the ad placement and format.

Step 1: Prepare your base design

Create your main design (for example, 1080Γ—1080, the standard 1:1 Feed format).
Publish it from Figma to Cropink as your primary design. More on that be found in this article.

Step 2: Prepare additional formats in Figma

Clone your master layout in Figma and adapt it to the most important Meta ad sizes, for example:

Placement

Format

Size

Facebook Feed

1:1

1080Γ—1080

Instagram Stories

9:16

1080Γ—1920

Instagram Reels

9:16

1080Γ—1920

Facebook Marketplace

1.91:1

1200Γ—628

Instagram Explore

4:5

1080Γ—1350

Export or publish each variant as a separate design using the Cropink plugin.

Step 3: Add the additional formats in Cropink

  1. Go to your project.

  2. Open Campaigns β†’ Additional Images.

  3. Add each design variant (Stories, Reels, Explore, Marketplace, etc.) as a separate additional image slot, starting from 0.

  4. Make sure each slot is mapped to the correct design you uploaded.

Step 4: Let Meta pick the best format

Once your feed is connected to Meta:

  • The Default Image becomes your main square creative (1080Γ—1080).

  • All Additional Images serve as placement-optimized alternatives.

Meta automatically chooses the best image depending on the ad placement β€” Stories will use 1080Γ—1920, Explore will use 1080Γ—1350, etc.

No manual switching needed.

πŸŽ‰ Final Result

You now have a multi-format creative system where one idea is automatically adapted for all Meta placements β€” without duplicating work or maintaining separate projects.
