Delay in Showing Designs After Syncing via Business Connect

Updated this week

If you’ve connected Cropink with Meta via Busuiness Connect and don’t see your designs appear immediately in Meta campaign previews, this is expected behavior.

Changes sent from Cropink to Meta are processed asynchronously, which means updates may take some time before they are fully visible in Meta Ads Manager.

Common reasons for delays

Delays in displaying overlays usually happen due to one or more of the following reasons:

  • Large product catalogs
If your catalog contains many products, Meta needs more time to process and refresh all items.

  • Significant design changes
Major updates (new layouts, additional layers, image replacements, or multiple conditional rules) require longer processing time on Meta’s side.

  • Recent catalog or feed refresh
If your catalog was refreshed recently, Meta may still be indexing previous updates.

  • Meta-side caching and propagation
Meta often caches catalog data, so previews may lag behind actual feed updates.

💡 NOTE: Make sure you are connecting and previewing the correct Meta catalog. If you manage multiple catalogs in Meta Business Manager, overlays may be updating in a different catalog than the one you are currently previewing.

What you can do

  • Wait a few minutes (in some cases up to an hour) and refresh the preview.

  • Manually trigger a catalog refresh in Meta Commerce Manager.

  • Confirm that the Cropink feed is correctly connected and active.

  • Double-check that the correct catalog is selected in your Meta campaigns.

✅ In most cases, overlays will appear automatically once Meta finishes processing the updates — no additional action is required.
