Using Multiple Product Images Inside One Design

Updated over a week ago

If you want to showcase your products from several angles or highlight different features in a single creative, Cropink allows you to use multiple product images directly inside one design β€” as long as your product feed provides additional images.

This is especially useful for:

  • fashion (front/back/close-up),

  • footwear (side/top/details),

  • beauty (texture + packaging),

  • electronics (front + back + lifestyle view),

  • home & decor (styled shot + studio shot).

Below is a simple example of how to set this up.

Step 1: Choose a design that supports multiple image placeholders

You can use one of our pre-made templates or create a multi-image layout in Figma.
Each image placeholder will be mapped separately inside the Design Manager.

πŸ’‘ NOTE: To display multiple images for a single product, your feed must include all the required image links (e.g. additional_image_link_0, additional_image_link_1, etc.). If a link is missing, that specific image placeholder will remain empty.

Step 2: Understand which image fields are available from your feed

Cropink can use all standard image fields commonly found in e-commerce feeds:

  • image_link β†’ the main product image

  • additional_image_link_0

  • additional_image_link_1

  • additional_image_link_2

  • … up to _9

These additional fields correspond to extra product photos included in your feed.

Step 3: Map each design placeholder to a different image source

After selecting your design, open it in Edit in Design Manager.

For each image placeholder:

  1. Click the layer (e.g., Main Image, Top Image, Bottom Image).

  2. Choose Data Mapping.

  3. Pick the image field you want to use.

Example configuration:

πŸ”Ή Main large image (#1)

image_link

πŸ”Ή Top secondary image (#2)

additional_image_link_0

πŸ”Ή Bottom secondary image (#3)

additional_image_link_1

You can repeat this for as many additional placeholders as your design includes.

Step 4: Save & preview

Once the mappings are set, click Save Changes and preview the output.

Cropink will now generate designs using multiple product images for every item in your feed β€” automatically, consistently and fully dynamic.

πŸŽ‰ Final Result

Your layout will display several photos of each product inside one creative, giving your ads more detail, more visual clarity, and a more premium presentation β€” all without manually editing images for every item.
