This process automates the setup and ensures data integrity between systems.β
Note: This option is only available after a connection to a Meta account has been configured in the Team settings.
Configuration Process
Select a Meta API Data Source Type [1]: After choosing the Meta API integration option [1] and click Continue [2], the system will display a list of available connectors, which correspond to your Business Portfolios in Meta [3].β
Select an Ad Account: For each connector, a list of its associated Ad Accounts will be presented. [3]
Select an Catalog: For each Ad Account, a list of its associated Catalogs will be presented [4]. Click Continue [5]
Automatic URL Retrieval: Upon selection, the data source URL will be automatically retrieved from your Meta configuration and displayed for your confirmation [6].
Data Consistency Verification: If you have previously defined a Meta API connection at the Project level, the system will perform an additional check to ensure that the newly selected data scope is identical to the existing one. If a discrepancy is found, an appropriate notification will be displayed.
This is a critical step, as working with the same data source used in Facebook Commerce Manager is a prerequisite for correct data mapping and campaign functionality.
Confirmation [7]: After successful verification, the data source will be added to our system.
Data Synchronization and Generation
Once the configuration is complete, initiating the synchronization process is crucial.
If you already had active campaigns, the creative generation process will be automatically triggered.
If you started the configuration by adding the data source, you must click the Update Now button after completing the campaign settings to initiate the processing of all data and generate the final creatives (Designs).
