Set a Default Design and Assign Alternatives for Selected Campaigns

Updated over 2 weeks ago

If you want to use one main design across most campaigns and apply other designs only to specific ads, Cropink makes this process simple with the Default and Additional Images setup.

This structure helps you manage your visuals efficiently — your main design serves as the default creative, while selected campaigns can use custom alternatives.

Step 1: Open the Campaigns tab

  1. In your Cropink project, go to the Campaigns tab.

  2. You’ll see two key sections:

    • Default (image link) – your main design for all campaigns.

    • Additional Images – optional alternative designs for selected campaigns.

Step 2: Set your default design

  1. In Default (image link), assign the design you want to appear as your standard creative.

  2. This design will function as the main product image (image_link) in your connected catalog (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.).

  3. By default, all campaigns will use this design first — unless a different one is specified later.

💡 Tip: Use this setup for your ongoing or evergreen campaigns, so your ads always display consistent visuals by default.

Step 3: Add alternative designs in Additional Images

  1. Go to the Additional Images tab.

  2. Assign one or more alternative designs that you want to use for specific campaigns.

  3. Each position in this tab acts as an “alternative slot” you can later reference inside your campaign setup.

For example:

  • Slot 1 – Summer Sale design

  • Slot 2 – Winter Collection design

  • Slot 3 – Flash Discount banner

Step 4: Link campaigns to the right design

  1. Open Campaigns → Facebook (or another platform).

  2. For each campaign or ad, choose which design should be displayed:

    • By default, your ads use the Default (image link) design.

    • To override it, link the campaign to a design from Additional Images.

  3. Cropink will automatically replace the default design with your chosen one for that campaign only.

💡 Example: Your Meta catalog uses the Default design for most ads, but your “Winter Collection” campaign uses the design from Additional Images slot 2 — this will override the default creative just for that campaign.

Step 5: Save and sync

Once you’ve set your default and alternative designs, click Save.
Cropink will sync these setups to your connected platforms (like Meta), ensuring each campaign displays the correct creative automatically.

That’s it! You’ve set up your default and alternative designs in Cropink — keeping your campaigns consistent while maintaining full flexibility for special visuals.
