Apply Cropink designs to Your Meta Campaigns via API

Updated over a week ago

To start using your Cropink designs directly in Meta campaigns, you’ll first need to connect your Cropink project with your Meta Business Account (via Commerce Manager).

Once this one-time setup is complete, you’ll be able to link your designs to live campaigns inside your Meta Ads Manager.

Let’s walk through the full process step by step:

Step 1: Open Team Settings in Cropink

Go to your Team Settings in Cropink and find the section labeled Facebook Ads.

Click on “Business Connect” to begin the connection process.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Make sure that the XML feed powering your Cropink project is the same one you use in Meta as your primary feed. This ensures a seamless connection, since both platforms will rely on the same data source.

Step 2: Follow the Meta Connection Flow

After clicking "Business Connect", you’ll be redirected to Facebook’s connection flow. This is where you’ll log in and choose:

  • Your Meta Business Manager

  • Your ad account

  • Your product catalog(s)

Just follow the on-screen guide provided by Meta.

Step 3: Check the Connection Status in Cropink

Once the connection is complete, you’ll be taken back to Cropink. You should now see the Facebook Ads status changed to “Connected”.

Step 4: Go to the Campaigns Tab

With your Facebook connection set, it’s time to link your designs to real campaigns.

Open the Campaigns tab in your Cropink project and select “Facebook” as your channel.

Step 5: Select Your Account and Catalog

You’ll now be able to choose:

  • The Facebook ad account you want to work with

  • The product catalog connected to that account

This is where Cropink syncs with your Meta setup, so make sure you’re selecting the right catalog used in your ads.

👉 When you’re inside the Campaigns tab, you’ll also notice options for Default Images and Additional Images.
These are the creatives that Cropink sends over to Meta:

  • Default Images are used as the main visuals for your products.

  • Additional Images act as supplementary assets and can appear in dynamic formats across your campaigns.

Step 6: See Your Meta Campaigns and Link Your Design

Once the account and catalog are selected, Cropink will load your existing Meta campaigns.

On the right side of each campaign, click “Link” to assign one of your designs to it.

Behind the scenes, Cropink automatically sends its output file to Meta as a supplementary feed connected to the catalog you previously selected.
That’s why it’s critical that the source feed powering Cropink matches the primary feed in Meta — this alignment guarantees smooth syncing and prevents mismatches.

⚠️ NOTE: Sometimes there’s a delay! Meta may take a little time to refresh campaign data after syncing. If you don’t see updates right away, give it a few minutes and check back later — the platforms just need a bit of time to talk to each other.

Step 7: Done! Your Designs Are Now Live in Meta 🎉

Once the sync is complete and data has refreshed, your selected overlays and designs will appear in the connected campaigns on Meta.

And that’s it — you're now fully connected. Your design process in Cropink is now directly powering your Meta ads.
