Error Tolerance

Error Tolerance defines the percentage threshold of acceptable errors for a Project.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

  1. Error Tolerance settings

  2. Information about the actual Failure Rate

  3. Information about the described error

Example:

The Project contains 100 products; 30 have an invalid image URL.

If Error Tolerance is set to 20%, the Project update is halted (because more than 20% of items contain errors). The Project status changes to "Failed", no data is fetched or modified, and no new Designs are generated. The user is also informed which data version is currently used in the Project.

If Error Tolerance is set to 40%, the update completes successfully with status "Updated," but 30 products are not generated correctly due to invalid images. In this case, those items retain the original image link from the configured data source.

Summary:

Error Tolerance safeguards data quality and, together with "Notification," enables proactive responses to errors originating from the data source.
